Sfantul Ioan Botezătorul
este cel ce-a botezat
pe Iisus Mântuitorul,
Omul fără vre-un pacat!

Din ceruri peste Iisus
Duhul l-a vazut tot el!
Coborând din nor de sus
în zbor, ca un porumbel.

Ioan, e cel ce-a auzit
pe Tatăl care a vorbit:
„Ăsta-i Fiul meu iubit
în Care am binevoit!”.
